Product Innovation at B2BGateway.Net

Product innovation is typically defined as introducing a new or substantially improved product to the market. Here at B2BGateway we deal with product innovation each day as we strive to improve internal and external systems and offer a better quality of service to our customers and staff. I could write about our virtualization efforts and the exponential increase in processing power this will offer us, or write about internal changes such as customizing sharepoint to maximize integration with legacy systems. However, since this is a new segment of the newsletter, it is only fitting that I start by writing about our premier example of product innovation, the B2BGateway itself.

The B2BGateway is truly a unique offering, providing those who need to trade traditional EDI or transact other electronic documents with an unprecedented scope of reach at a fraction of the cost for similar solutions. At the center of the B2BGateway is the Global EDI Network, a robust infrastructure that connects heterogeneous sources. Our network encompasses all manners of protocols, connecting Value Added Networks to QuickBooks, or AS2 to NetSuite. It does not matter how a document must traverse from point A to point B for our customers, because our network has already established the interconnection. This functionality is a remarkable step above what was offered in the past, and what is still offered by some of our competitors.

Built on top of this network is an array of virtual and physical processors that are constantly translating and verifying data as it passes through the system. We can add capacity on demand during peak times, or route traffic dynamically when there is hardware or other failure. Our architecture has been built for scalability, with the added goal to minimize the single points of failure that might cause issue for our customers.

Our support staff is also unparalleled in their approach to customer service. We combine self-service functionality with a personalized approach that you will not see in other organizations. If one of our customers needs to speak with someone they can pick up the phone and call their account manager directly, or speak to a member of our support department if the account manager is not available.

The B2BGateway.Net is truly a marvel of product innovation. We have taken the complexity out of electronic data interchange, and are able to offer Global EDI Connectivity, Outstanding Customer Support, and Data Translation as a single line item. I had better mention that this all runs in the Cloud as well. B2BGateway has been offering SaaS and Cloud computing since its inception, long before these terms found their current prominence in today’s computing nomenclature.
